Yangon - Mandalay - Sagaing - Innwa - Bagan - Yangon

Day 1
Yangon

 

Welcome at Yangon International Airport by English speaking tour guide and check in at the hotal. In the afternoon, having lunch at the hotel and in the evening visit to Shwedagon Pagoda. Visiting the Shwedagon Pagoda after dark is an entirely different experience, as the structure is lit up and mesmerizing. An ideal itinerary would include a visit in the morning, before the heat of the day, then explore other interesting sights in Yangon. Then, return to the hotel and have dinner in Yangon.

 

Day 2
Yangon- Mandalay

 

Morning breakfast at the hotel in Yangon and then check out for Mandalay. Fly for Mandalay with morning flight. It takes about 1 hour and 18 mins. Arrive in Mandalay by flight and visit the ancient pagodas such as Kuthodaw Pagoda, Maha Myat Muni Pagoda, exquisite temples ,grand palace monasteries by car. In the afternoon, have lunch at Shwe Anyar Restaurant and visit to the Maha Myat Muni Pagoda. Maha Myat Muni Pagoda is very impressive and it’s the most revered Buddha image in Mandalay. It’s also the most ancient Buddha image in Myanmar.

Then, in the evening , walk along at Mandalay moat. A moat is a deep, broad ditch ,either dry or filled with water, that is dug and surrounds a castle, fortification, building or town, historically to provide it with a preliminary line of defence. Walked around beside a moat and spend time until night. Dinner at the hotel and overnight at Mandalay. It’s a great city to explore for Buddhists and those who wish to know more about the religion.

 

Day 3
Mandalay- Sagaing

Morning breakfast at the hotel in Mandalay. Then go to Sagaing Region. The driving distance between Mandalay to Sagaing Region State is 129km. It takes approximately 1hr 52m to get there. Sagaing is the capital city of Sagaing Region. Located on the lrrawaddy River,20km to the south-west of the Mandalay on the opposite bank of the river. The pagodas and monasteries crowd the numerous hills along the ridge running parallel to the river. Firstly ,visit to the Soon U Ponya Shin Paya. It’s one of the famous pagoda in Sagaing and located on the top of the Sagaing Hill. Pagoda Festival is held on the fullmoon day of Warso. Then, move to U Min Thonze Caves. It takes about 1 hour.U Min Thonze Pagoda is one of the most distinctive complexes on the main hill top of Sagaing. After that, have lunch at the restaurant near Sagaing Hill. After lunch, go to the Thatkya Thida Nunnery  in Sagaing to see the daily life of the Nuns who are learning Buddhism. Then continue to visit silver workshop in Yahtaung village in Sagaing. Dinner at Yahtaung village and back to the hotel at 8pm.

 

Day 4
Sagaing – Innwa

 

Morning breakfast at Sagaing Hotel and start our journey to Innwa. It takes about 40 minutes by car  to cross the river. Many tourist attraction places in Innwa and visit Nann Taw Yar, Innwa Shwe Si Kone Pagoda, Innwa Research Museum,Nanmyint Watch Tower and U Bein Bridge. U Bein Bridge is one of the most recognizable places for sunset in Myanmar. It was built in 19th century, connecting Innwa and Amarapura township between Taungthaman Lake. It is the oldest teakwood bridge in the world. The local travellers and tourists like to vist Innwa cultural heritage zone. After visiting most of the places on Innwa, have lunch at the restaurant. In the evening , walk along U Bein Bridge and see the sunset. Then return to the Sagaing hotel and have dinner at the hotel.

 

Day 5
Innwa- Bagan

 

Morning breakfast at Sagaing Hotel and start our journey to Bagan. It takes about 3 and a half hours by modern air- conditioned car. After arriving, visit Dhammayangyi Temple, Ananda Temple, Shwezigon Paya and Shwegugyi Temple and Kuthodaw Pagoda. Dhammayangyi Temple is an ancient Buddhist Pagoda located in the old town of Bagan in Myanmar. It is the largest of all the temples in Bagan and is one of the topmost places visited by the tourists. Ananda Temple is the most beautiful and most famous temple in Bagan. The temple complex consists of long walkways from all the four directions. There is a huge standing buddha in each of the four directions, in the main shrine. There are also multiple smaller shrines in the complex, including Buddha figures in different sitting and standing postures. There are multiple paintings as well, on the walls. There are two layers of walls surrounding the main shrine(with 4 standing Buddha figures in 4 directions) and these walls are filled with amazing painted windows and sculptures which are a joy to behold. There are lots of shops in the corridors and also outside the temple complex, selling all kinds of Burmese handicrafts, clothes, lacquerware, buddha idols etc. After visiting many temples in Bagan, have lunch  at local restaurant. Then, visit to any other ancient pagoda by car. Dinner with culture shwe and overnight at Bagan.

 

Day 6
Bagan - Yangon

 

In early morning, visit to Shwe San Daw Pagoda. The sunrise from Shwe San Daw , the view of Ayeyarwaddy River from a temple, the city with just thousands of Ancient Pagodas, the history of more than a thousand years ago and the majestic architectures from different centuries. Then, return to the hotel and have breakfast. After that, back to the Yangon by flight. Dinner and overnight in Yangon. Bagan is a must-see destination during a trip to Myanmar.

 

Day 7
Yangon International Airport.

Morning breakfast at the hotel in Yangon and check out from hotel in the afternoon. Then flight departure at 1 pm.

Terms and Conditions Of Service.

• The contract will be not effective between the service provider agency and the client until received the full amount of payment from client.
• The agency has the right to take decision by reason for any argument.

 

Booking Procedure.

• Booking to be confirmed only after getting 50% of the total package cost.
• Rest of the payment to be cleared before starting the service.
• In any case of cancellation of booking, it must inform in advance.
• Cancellation will be effective only on the date and time of receipt of cancellation letter.
